It is my personal approach that creates the climate.
As a human, I possess a tremendous power to make
a person’s life miserable or joyous.
I can be a tool of torture or an instrument of inspiration.
I can humiliate or humor, hurt or heal.
In all situations, it is my response that decides whether a crisis will be diminished or escalated
and a fellow human being humanized or de-humanized.
To teach people how to develop an everyday mindfulness about how we communicate, make decisions and engage with each other in our shared spaces in an effort to cause no harm.
To teach civility, cultivate civility and how to practice civility in all aspects of life to cause no harm.
For all people, particularly when in the role of employee, employer, student learner, community member, and parent to embrace, learn, practice and promote actions, behaviors, language, and decision-making grounded in civility, in all places, at all times (24/7/12) to cause no harm.
